KEEP ME IN THE WAY OF LIGHT
I declare –
walk in the light and darkness shall flee.
Walk in the light and you shall overcome the works of darkness.
Beloved, you are a new creature in the image of God.
created for a relationship with God.
– Created in the image of God to be an overcomer.
Created to be triumphant,
created to be victorious.
Created to show his glory and power in this world of darkness.
2 Corinthians 5 – 17. Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
another translation says
For if a man belongs to Christ, he is a new person. The old life is gone. New life has begun.
That means a new believer has a new life, new nature, new path, new course of destiny with a new path, new leader -/// and it makes sense if you think about it previously I was on the Road of destruction, I was on the path of death but thank God for Jesus he came to die for me and gave himself for me.
2 Corinthians 5 – 21. For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
My old life was to please my previous master the devil but now I live to please Jesus Christ.
What about you?
My flesh goes contrary to the spirit and the spirit goes contrary to the flesh — it’s a battle of ownership but if you live your life in the light of Jesus Christ you will receive the power to crucify the flesh.
For I am crucified with Christ never the less I live – Galatians 2 – 20. I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
Remember the song we sing -// I live for Jesus day after day
Jesus Christ is the way of light —therefore
In the way of light – There is life
In the way of light – There is peace
In the way of light – There is joy
In the way of light- There is liberty
In the way of light – divine health and healing
In the way of light – There is breakthrough
In the way of light – There is Prosperity
In the way of light – There is victory
In the way of light -There is eternal life
Isaiah 43 – 16. Thus saith the LORD, which maketh a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters;
God makes ways in obscure places, gives the wisdom to know it and also walk in it How can you know a thing or how to use a thing except the thing is introduced and revealed to you by the designer of the thing?
John 8:12 Jesus says I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life —-
if we are followers of Christ then we must be light in the world.
As a light in a world that is full of darkness, you are hated, despised, the world system begins to work contrary and the enemies will use every strategy to fight you and cause you to fall and overwhelmed by the forces of darkness. Even the members of your own household including the people you have helped and wished good to wish evil for you. But in the name of Jesus Christ, they shall not prevail.
Don’t deceive yourself and don’t be surprised when people that despise you the most are those of your own household.-
Jesus said – a man’s enemy shall be those of his own household.
Surely they shall gather but not by me. victory is assured you saints of God –
Isaiah 54 – 14. In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee. 15. Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake.
There is no darkness in the God that saved us through his own son Jesus Christ and wants a relationship with us so we are encouraged to walk in the light and have fellowship with him also . 1 John 1 – 5. This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. 6. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: 7. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
I declare –
walk in the light and darkness shall flee.
Walk in the light and you shall overcome the works of darkness.
1 John 4:17- As he is so are we in this world – meaning as he is light so we also are light.
That is why we are the designated lights in this world of darkness today.
Jesus says let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father.
As new believers, we are sealed with the Holy Spirit. We are called to walk in the way of light and depart from the way and works of darkness.
As you walk in the light and depart from the darkness with the enablement of the Holy Spirit, the Lord causes your path to shine brighter and brighter until that perfect day.
There is a way that has been set for you and for me to fulfill our destiny and be pleasing to God Almighty.
Proverbs 4 – 18. But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day. 19. The way of the wicked is as darkness: they know not at what they stumble.
Jesus says I am the WAY
Jesus Christ is not the just the WAY to the father but in Christ is the only way to be pleasing to the father. Since Jesus is the way we are called to follow HIM – the perfect way.
There is a way that has been designed for you from the foundation of the world. The roadmap and path to the way come into effect the moment you accepted Christ as Lord and saviour but unfortunately, the enemy is not happy and wants us to walk in defeat, fear, failure. The enemy does not want us to fulfill the purpose and destiny to glorify God.
For the many that God has a perfect plan for their life and future, the enemy comes through a diversion strategy.
Diversion spirit – John 10:10 – Have you seen workmen doing roadworks on the road and they place DIVERSION signs on the road. I have missed the road a few times because I either did not see the sign, or there was no signs or the signs were placed wrongly. For a person that is not familiar with the route, you miss the road. This is an example of what the enemy does.
Some destinies cannot be killed, even the devil knows you are heaven bound so he sends diversion spirits to remove them from the path ordained for them by God. That path is the path of peace and fulfilment . It then leads the people of God to serving God with heaviness, without passion, and with weariness.
Job 12 – 24-25 He taketh away the heart of the chief of the people of the earth, and causeth them to wander in a wilderness where there is no way. 25. They grope in the dark without light, and he maketh them to stagger like a drunken man.
A drunken man struggles to find his way home and while he desires and makes all sincere efforts to get home, but because of his corrupted mind, that is full of darkness, he becomes confused, does not see clearly, cannot think clearly, staggers, becomes weary and eventually falls in his hopelessness.
Many Christians are like these drunken men, under the influence of the enemy, who diverts and distracts their focus by diverse methods.
Some people want to get to the light…
– They know they need the light.
– Where they are is not where they want to be.
– What is happening around them they have no controls over. What they may not know is there may be a curse by a wicked man over them that causes their ways to be dark and slippery – no matter which way they turn there is darkness there.
PSA 35:6 – let their way be dark and slippery and let the angel of the Lord persecute them.
Psalm 82 – 5. They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course.
We are going to pray —-// Prayer is not just a physical but a spiritual force that draws the supernatural of God into your natural situations for a divine change.
I need a change in my life therefore I will pray
O lord cancel every road map set to divert my destiny in zones us name.
—— every evil roadblocks on my path of joy – catch fire in Jesus name
—— every satanic checkpoint designed to hinder me from the light – catch fire in Jesus mighty name
—- every spiritual policeman sent to divert my miracle and blessings – be roasted by fire.
—- every progress and destiny arresters I command in the name of Jesus Christ lose your hold in my life
—-/ problem activating forces – fall out of my life in Jesus name.
—— many people are looking at the wrong persons for their problems. Fighting the wrong persons for the issues they have in their lives, If only they knew that there may be an evil angel on their path stopping them from advancing in life —- Numbers 22 – 26. And the angel of the LORD went further, and stood in a narrow place, where was no way to turn either to the right hand or to the left. 27. And when the ass saw the angel of the LORD, she fell down under Balaam: and Balaam’s anger was kindled, and he smote the ass with a staff.
—— every altar where my name, photograph or personal materials has been taken for any spell or enchantment catch fire in Jesus name.
—— Many marriages, families and destinies are messed up by evil enchanter and diviners Numbers 23 – 23. Surely there is no enchantment against Jacob, neither is there any divination against Israel: according to this time it shall be said of Jacob and of Israel, What hath God wrought!
—- There is a path that Jesus has ordained for me from the foundation of the earth – the path of total victory – I begin to walk in total victory now in Jesus name.
Jesus said I give you my peace – I begin I walk in total peace from now in Jesus name.
As I walk in the light if Jesus Christ, I receive favour before God and man
I declare as I follow the light, I begin to enjoy freedom and liberty in Jesus mighty name.
I declare from today whatever was impossible to me before now turn around and become possible in Jesus mighty name.
Jer 29:11-12 —- I have the victory in Jesus name.
